County Fair Horse Show!

Gayle and Payton, and Payton's friend Leah, had a pretty good day at the County Fair Horse Show yesterday! Dirty Negotiator (aka Bubba) had his first showing since Payton took over his training, and he placed third in his halter class. Armani had his debut as a Western Pleasure Horse, and both Gayle and Payton showed him in their respective age groups. He did very well! Payton, Gayle and Kathy entered the relay barrel race and came in second. But the highlight of the day was Payton taking First in the Egg and Spoon Game. She took second place in it last year. Sheriff and Sisco are having a blast being gaming horses now! There are even some team events where they can compete together. The kids entered several events, and won several ribbons, but I can't keep track of all that, so we have decided that Kari is going to start keeping stats. She is very excited! She is talking about pie charts and everything!
